Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This explains what we do with your personal data when you buy or use The Cortisol & Visceral Fat Guide. We've kept it specific rather than generic, because the honest answer is that we collect very little.

Who is responsible

Access Health

Access Health is a trading name of [YOUR FULL NAME], a sole trader, who is the data controller for the information described below.

The important part first

The details you type into the guide never leave your device. Your weight, height, age, sex, activity level and training experience are used by your own browser to calculate your targets. They are not transmitted to us, not stored anywhere, and not visible to anyone but you.

This means we hold no health data about you at all. It also means we can't recover your numbers if you clear them — you'd simply enter them again.

What we do collect

DataWhyLawful basis
Your email addressTo send your access link, and to find it again if you lose itPerformance of our contract with you
An order reference from the checkout providerTo match a payment to an access link and avoid issuing duplicatesPerformance of our contract
Your access token, and the date it was issuedThis is what makes your link workPerformance of our contract
A count of how many times your link has been opened, and when it was last usedTo detect links that have been shared publiclyOur legitimate interest in preventing misuse

That's the complete list. We do not collect your name, address, date of birth, or any health information.

Payment information

We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by [YOUR CHECKOUT PROVIDER], who process it under their own privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, plus your email address.

Who else processes your data

ProviderWhat they do
NetlifyHosts the site and stores the access records described above
ResendSends your delivery email
[YOUR CHECKOUT PROVIDER]Processes payment and passes us your email address

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and tracking

We don't set cookies, and we don't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking of any kind. Nothing on this site follows you elsewhere.

The site also makes no third-party requests at all. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this domain, so no outside company receives your IP address simply because you visited.

[If you later add analytics or advertising, this section must be updated and you will likely need a consent banner before those scripts load.]

How long we keep it

We keep your access record for as long as your link remains active, so that we can help if you lose it. If you ask us to delete it, we will — but your link will stop working, so we'll confirm that with you first.

Records relating to a transaction may need to be retained for longer to meet tax and accounting obligations, which in the UK is generally six years.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

Email info@access-health.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. There's no charge.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, email you.
